The Bible Challenge at St. Stephen's invites members, friends, and anyone who is looking to deepen their faith in God to join us as we read the entire Bible together over one year beginning in September. We'll host an introductory Sunday Forum on September 21st, and our reading schedule begins on September 22nd.

In just 20 to 30 minutes of reading each day, we'll be immersed in the sacred story of God and God's people from the beginning of Genesis through the end of Revelation. Each day features chapters from the Old Testament, a Psalm, and a chapter from the New Testament.

If you've ever wanted to read the Bible more consistently or read parts you've never read before, The Bible Challenge is a great chance to become more familiar with the written word of God. You can use any Bible you'd like, and we have many at St. Stephen's that you can borrow.

We encourage you to develop a personal, daily routine of reading -- like bringing your Bible to the kitchen table to start your day with scripture and a cup of coffee, or reading over your lunch break, or even reading or listening to a Bible app on your phone. And, you'll never be reading alone: St. Stephen's will offer a weekly Zoom drop-in call to recap our readings and share our experiences. We'll also host a monthly Sunday Forum as a recap and check-in time for The Bible Challenge.

You can sign up here to register to join us! By signing up, you'll also receive our weekly newsletter and Zoom link for the weekly check-in to chat with others about their journey with the Bible.
